I have this problem also. Here, I copy text I've already placed, elsewhere:
"Now the trouble is happening to me, also. I was plain forced to upgrade from Windows seven to ten, on ajn HP laptop. For a few days, the thing SEEMED to boot. Today, now, it FIRST shows a screen with a beach, and when my mouse wheel brings downwardly the other screen, I see my name, "Jim Bell", in large letters, as well equally my direct e-mail address in smaller letters below. A box appears below that, saying "Password". Trouble is, I don't accept a password, I've never had a countersign. So, I don't blazon anything, except hitting the "Enter" key. "Please enter your sign-in information and try again". Just I have no "sign-in information" to provide. Thus, I cannot log in. I cannot use that computer. The only reason I can access this is that I have a SECOND computer that isn't Even so screwed up. Equally far as I tin can tell, I am completely locked out of my computer.
This is Evidently a major problem with Microsoft and Windows ten. Many other people take the aforementioned problem. When I meet other questions which seem to be related to the same problem, I ofttimes run into the answerer suggesting that people do things, things that I cannot possibly practice, in big function because I but CANNOT log on to my computer. I cannot Even Brainstorm to solve the problem, because your brain-dead software DOES Not ALLOW ME to do so.
Please note: I did Non "forget" my password(s). I NEVER HAD such passwords, menstruum. Information technology is articulate from other questions here that this very serious bug doesn't occur simply because somebody "forgot" their countersign, simply considering in that location is a problem inherent with Windows ten. It clearly wasn't debugged well. I was happy with Windows 7. I could tell that many or most people hated Windows 8. Then I was smart and never tried Windows 8. Little did I know that Windows x would be the disaster that it has become.

Possibly you lot didn't notice that I said NEVER HAD A PASSWORD on this computer.
Maybe you lot didn't discover the dozens, perhaps hundreds of questions in this forum from people who, as well, pointed out that with the Windows 10 "upgrade" (Ha ha!) that they were facing a "Password Incorrect" message, despite the fact that they never had a password to begin with.
Nevertheless, I will look at that site.
I looked at that site. Completely appropriate for people who actually accept forgotten their password. Completely INAPPROPRIATE for people who take been victimized by Microsoft ten's "Password Incorrect" bug.
See, the simply commonality is caused by Microsoft'southward crappy software, which INCORRECTLY says that an entered password is "wrong", whereas the real problem is that Microsoft's software is bad.

Create a New User to Save Account Files
If none of this works, in that location's another measure you can take which will (in a very roundabout style), allow y'all to regain access to your computer.
First, commencement by booting your Windows 10 installation into the setup by changing the kicking order in your BIOS to take priority with the CD, or use the ISO every bit a startup disk instead.
Once the setup begins, hit Shift+F10.
This volition bring upward a command prompt. From here, we're going to use the command prompt to replace the Utility Manager at the login screen with cmd.exe with the following commands:
move d : \ windows \ system32 \ utilman . exe d : \ windows \ system32 \ utilman . exe . bak
re-created : \ windows \ system32 \ cmd . exed : \ windows \ system32 \ utilman . exe
Once this is consummate, use the control "wpeutil reboot" to restart the machine.
After you're back at the login screen, click the Utility Manager. If everything went right, you should come across a cmd.exe launch like the prototype below.
This is the prompt you lot'll apply to create a new administrative user from the login screen. Type in the post-obit commands, replacing <username> with the proper name y'all'd like to assign to the new account (no carrots).
net user< username >/ add
net localgroup administrators< username >/ add
At present close the prompt, reboot, and yous should see your new user in the login screen.
Click in here, and enter your fresh desktop. From the desktop, right click the Start menu in the bottom-right hand corner, and select "Computer Management".
Navigate to "Local Users and Groups", scroll down to the affected account, and correct-click. Choose the "Set Countersign" selection, and choose a new set up of credentials to regain access to your locked account!

It should be noted that this method will only work to fully recover accounts that are designated to sign on locally. If you lot need to become your Microsoft Alive account countersign back, you'll accept to retrieve it through the online forms mentioned above.
That said, if the online recovery service doesn't work, you volition even so be able to access any important files or folders that may have been locked upward in that account by going into C:\Users, and clicking on its associated folder.
When All Else Fails: Call Microsoft
If the automatic reset process on Microsoft'southward site doesn't lead anywhere to restore your Live-only business relationship, you can expect into dialing up a representative at the company itself.
When calling the TechNet Help Center directly, you'll initially exist greeted with the same security questions that you filled out when you lot created the account. If y'all tin't answer these, the representative will hand you off to another team, which will utilise a diverseness of verification techniques that range from request for detailed information about what the business relationship'due south been used for, to having you list whatsoever specific names that might be stored in your ain contact list.
If you tin reply just two of these correctly, the rep will send you a temporary unlock code, which you can then use to log back into your Live account.
Preventative Steps
Of course, all these steps are but necessary if you oasis't already followed our many different guides on creating a backup password reset deejay beforehand, either from the Windows default program, or through a Ubuntu-based rescue tool installed on a CD or USB thumbstick.
Secondly, you lot can also look into taking advantage of the new Windows Pivot feature, which will allow yous to tie a PIN code to your account instead of the standard alphanumerical password. Yous'll find the option to add a PIN either in the initial setup, or in the "Accounts" section of the Windows ten Settings folder.
This way, whether it's your debit card passcode or merely your lucky number, it'll just be a few uncomplicated keystrokes to remember, instead of a complicated combination of words and letters that can be difficult to track amidst the dozens of different logins you have across each of your separate devices.
Losing or forgetting your password can be a frustrating feel, but thanks to these workarounds, tricks, and tips, information technology doesn't have to mean the end of your account as you know information technology!

I read, at the beginning:
"Offset, beginning past booting your Windows 10 installation into the setup by changing the boot order in your BIOS to take priority with the CD, or use the ISO as a startup deejay instead."
I haven't the slightest clue what this sentence means.
Just, I know that "booting" is what a reckoner does to start upwardly.
"Your Windows x installation into the setup..."
I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Read that advisedly.
"...by irresolute the boot order in your BIOS"
Huh? I oasis't a inkling.
" to have priority with the CD,"
Huh? I haven't a clue.
" or use the ISO as a startup disk instead."
Huh? I oasis't a clue. What is "ISO"? I know nearly the "International Standards Organisation".
"Startup disk instead"
Huh? I oasis't a clue. What's a "startup deejay"? As far as I know, my computer never had a "startup disk". Don't know how to become one.
Hint: Somehow, I doubtable that if I knew enough about Microsoft'southward disastrous software to actually understand what you lot just sent to me, I'd be able to effigy out the problem on my ain.
I would like to add something, however. I can see that the trouble I am observing is very basic: I can't log onto my computer, AT ALL, by the initial request for a "Password", a password which never existed, so there is clearly no way I can "guess" a password which didn't ever exist. Nevertheless, this should be a very fixable problem, at to the lowest degree in the sense that it is obvious that it wasn't user-caused: The large number of postings of questions on this kind of subject conspicuously shows that MANY people are subjected to this trouble, and the possibility of their own personal mistakes tin exist readily excluded. (Because, simply, their computers never booted, and thus they were not allowed to practise ANYTHING.)
This, therefore, is Manifestly Microsoft's own error. Nobody else's. Microsoft must take the solution. That'due south why I'grand here.

Actually it'south a relatively simple trouble to solve. I, also, never had a password. At present, it seems, Windows is demanding one.
OK. Reinstall your previous O/S from your fill-in (partition, discs, flash drive whatever. And, yes, as long every bit you only upgraded to Windows ten instead of performing a clean install your sectionalisation yet has the O/South that came with your device).
Go to "My Business relationship" at Microsoft and create a password.
Now reinstall Windows 10 from the iso you saved and enter your password.
In one case you're all activated create a Pin and you're all set.
OR y'all can just sit around and grouse nigh the inconvenience.
That'southward entirely up to you.
Every bit for me, I adopt having my PC working.
